T&G Environmental was founded in 2003 by Tex Hill, a 21-year veteran of the United States Army who served honorably in both Vietnam and Korea. The discipline, integrity, and work ethic that defined his military career became the very foundation of T&G's business practices. In the company's early years, Tex built a strong reputation across the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex removing underground storage tanks (USTs) and servicing active convenience stores, earning the trust of customers through consistent, quality work.
As T&G grew, so did the involvement of Tex's daughter, Kim. Under her father's mentorship, Kim immersed herself in the industry, developing a deep knowledge of environmental services and a genuine passion for the work. In 2013, while raising a family of her own, Kim took ownership of T&G Environmental, determined to honor the legacy Tex had built while taking the company to new heights. Under her leadership, T&G expanded into broader environmental service sectors and grew its presence well beyond Dallas and Tarrant counties.
In 2023, the next chapter of T&G's story began when Kim's son, Clayton, joined the company, eager to carry on the tradition his grandfather started and his mother continued. Three generations, one mission. T&G Environmental is proud to be a true family business, and that spirit shapes everything we do. We treat our customers the way we'd treat family: listening carefully to their needs, doing right by them, and delivering quality work at a competitive price.
